Erdek Vocational School Tourism and Hotel Management Program started its activities in 1994 within the scope of Balıkesir University. Since 2015, the department is continuing its education and training activities in Bandirma Onyedi Eylül University.
Tourism and Hotel Management Program provides two-year associate degree education. The students take theoretical and applied courses in accordance with the occupational standards for two years.
The aim of the programme is to train lower level and mid-level civil servants by giving practical education on present conditions for tourism sector. In addition to this, our students have been manpower to be able to have their own works or help management and work in production processes of tourism and hospitality sector.
The objective of the program is to train human resources with professional qualifications required by the tourism sector, at least one foreign language, computer knowledge and automation programs used in the sector, human relations and communication skills, following innovations and open for improvement.

Specific Admission Requirements: High school diploma
Placement through a nation-wide Student Selection Examination
Access to further studies: May apply to first cycle programmes in related fields on condition that passing Central Transition Exam or may apply to bachelor's degree completion programmes in related fields of study in Distance Education System.
Graduation requirements: A student is required to have a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grades.
Recognition of prior learning: "Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions" provisions are applied for the students who wish to make lateral transfer to Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University from higher education institutions situated in Turkey.
Qualification requirements and regulations: Students should achieve all of the compulsory and elective courses for a total of 120 ECTS credits and is required cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00
Occupational profiles of graduates: This degree provides the holder a chance to exercise the profession in both private and public sector.
